It appears as if the US Wnt is working very well. We have a weak economy and jobs are returning at a very slow rate. Our enemies seem to think we are not strong enough to fight anymore. Is this what we are trying to do? Perhaps we should look closely at who are advising our nation's leaders.
I am shocked that we would listen to anyone from the US military telling us what to do. If they knew what was good for us, they would tell us so. Why do we let them get away with it? They are corrupt, selfish and unfit for leadership. In other words, they are unfit to lead.
The military is what provides the US with some of its most important skills. It is amazing that the same people that are supposedly protecting us are the ones that are not keeping us safe. The current state of our economy has made it almost impossible for our government to spend wisely. So now it is doing all it can to protect itself from loss of funds.
Some consider this an act of surrender. This is not the American way. Our President says that if we fail to protect the US, we would be forced to rebuild a big part of our infrastructure from scratch. Do you think that is wise? Some say that this is more an attempt to make the US appear weak rather than build our military up to par.
Are we fooling ourselves if we believe that the US is at risk when our President makes statements like these? He also mentioned that our military should be able to win the hearts of those whom we may disagree with. In other words, he wants our military to pacify our enemies. Has our President ever said anything that could be construed in that fashion? Apparently not.
On a personal note, I find it disturbing that a military officer would publicly criticize his own boss. Something is seriously amiss here and it certainly does not bode well for our nation's future. Please consider this in 2021.
It is absolutely amazing that the US Military is raising and spending money on its own fighter jets while it is sending fewer troops to Iraq and Afghanistan. The budget disaster in Afghanistan is a major distraction. More US Troops is going there to train the local Afghan army and police force. Why?
The reason is that they do not believe the United States has the will or the intelligence to fully complete its mission. This is unfortunate, considering all the money the military is spending on the airplanes, ships, and soldiers. Who do we have in the military to really complete this job?
Some people believe that we are losing the War on Terror to Al Qaeda and Taliban and that this is why the military is falling short. This could not be further from the truth. Our troops are very focused on fighting and winning. They understand that the success or failure of the mission depends on how well-trained and equipped our forces are. If we have any desire to win the War on Terror, we must make sure that our military retirees know how to win the fight.
