Foudy attributes her success to having a passion for sports and learning from the mistakes she made in the past. She states that she didn't have a lot of guidance when she started out in sports and needed to learn on her own through reading, observation and trial and error. Foudy has also learned from the many coaches and mentors she has had since she began playing the game in the early '80s. By listening to their advice, reading their books and watching their videos, Foudy has become a more knowledgeable coach and teacher. These experiences have allowed her to help others achieve their goals.
