Casey Short is an American football player who plays as a right back for the Chicago Red Stars of National Women's Soccer League. Since joining the team in 2021, she already has more than 30 caps for the United States ladies' national soccer team. After that, she entered the University of Virginia to play soccer but did not enjoy the sport.
Now, Casey is focused on playing soccer. She said she wants to help her countrymen develop a strong soccer program. Although she is currently in the college career, she also hopes to become a professional soccer player once she graduates from college. She is currently working toward fulfilling her goals.
As what many fans and experts expected, Casey has impressed the coaches with her performance during the first few weeks of the season. It was obvious that she is already used to playing at a higher level and her performance was definitely a good example of what she can offer the soccer team. The coach thinks that her fitness level is good and that she will soon get to the level of fitness that can compete at the level of the national team. Soccer is not an easy game, it requires great endurance and agility. By playing soccer regularly, you can improve your strength and increase your agility.
